 league after losing two of the last three games and then losing the replayed cup semi final against Aston Villa.

The season of 1914-15 was to be the last for four years due to the First World War and was to be a successful one for Everton. 
They were crowned champions on the last day of the season and were again losing semi finalists after going down 2-0 to Chelsea.
